Who are we?
Dunedin Home Support Services is owned and managed by Dunedin couple Elizabeth and Graeme Pearson. Both have many years experience in caring for people with disabilities, whether they are young or old. Their allegiance is to the people of Dunedin and Otago.
Our aim
Is for clients to gain their optimum level of independence in their own home through quality care.
Mission Statement
To establish Dunedin Home Support Services as a front runner in service provision, to be professional, incorporating a Quality Improvement Cycle, and to have staff who are skilled in caring for people with disabilities.
Philosophy
Dunedin Home Support Services is committed to delivering a high standard of quality, personal service, respecting client’s rights and cultural values and to assist them to remain comfortable, safe and independent in their own home. Dunedin Home Support Services in recognizing the Treaty of Waitangi is committed to incorporating and upholding Treaty principals.
Standards
In 2006 Dunedin Home Support Services gained the Standards for the Home and Community Sector as set out by the New Zealand Standards Authority.
